I painted this wonderful view along I-25 on a summer paintout with the Plein Air New Mexico group.The blue sky and puffy clouds were followed in the afternoon by a sky equally dramatic in the opposite way. What fun it was to race against the elements to capture the glowering steel blue sky on a second canvas. Joys of plein air!
